Dennard Hardware Protection Kit is used as a fire seal in structural\u00a0 components such as wooden doors and windows with built-in metal fittings, which limits and mitigate\u00a0 combustion of the wood. It is a low pressure expansion product made up of ammonium phosphate, which produces a large quantity of micro porous, heat insulating foam during fire exposure to protect the treated material from fire.
Dennard Hardware Protection Kit can be provided in many\u00a0 conventional ways without affecting it\u2019s performance such as kits to protect butt hinges, concealed\u00a0 hinges, mortice locks, concealed door closer, automatic drop seals, flush bolts, door viewers,
